Over the past couple of weeks I’ve focused on a online therapy course that I’ve started so paused wellness Wednesday posts so I can spend a bit more time on that as part of my wellness and mental health. One of the things that has come out of that is a focus on gratitude.
Gratitude is something that took me a while to get to grips with but is something that comes up again and again when you look at stuff to do with wellness. I tried incorporating it into my bullet journal but struggled with. In November 2018 Elliebeth Designs UK started a monthly gratitude challenge. Each day has a prompt with a new set of prompts each month.

Since then I’ve been using the monthly spread on my passion planner to record a quick response each day to the prompt – combined with some of Rachel’s stickers its a creative outlet and a moment to pause each day and reflect on something positive. I’ve loved doing it and some of them fall into my favourite spreads of all time.

Over the past couple of weeks though I’ve been adding to this as part of the wider activities fro m the course. The Free space to grow section in my passion planner daily has become a daily gratitude journal. I’m trying to develop the habit of recording a good thing each day that I’ve found for myself.
I found a set of prompts really helpful in being able to start my journey of gratitude. Going beyond this is already a small challenge, but one that will hopefully help me develop a more positive perspective on things.
